Farmer's Market Morning

Kat and I had a mini adventure checking out one of the Vancouver Farmer's Market venues at our local park two Saturdays ago. Between all the different local vendors, fresh produce, entertainment, and delicious food, it's safe to say that we are hooked. I wasn't even grumpy about not being able to sleep in, fyi - it's one of my favorite past times.

We took the long scenic route over to market lot in search for a bathroom and thank goodness we did because the park was beautiful that day.

We couldn't say no to cheese samples and kale. (Kale chips post coming soon!)

These were the most delicious raspberries either of us had ever tasted, and we found them at the Shalefield Organic Gardens booth.  They were amazing, cross our hearts awesome - we pinky swear.

Small pleasures was by far our favorite booth.  It was filled with delectable baked goods and we walked away with a pair of earl grey scones.

How adorable is this little girl's mini flower shop? The Klipper's booth also featured peaches, and they were too delicious that we couldn't resist picking up a few.

Ended the morning with brunch on the patio, and writing up this post makes us want to relive that morning all over again so we can enjoy these scones and fruit a second time.

Tell us about your Farmer's Market experience!
